the vintage 1988 brilliant cut diamond three stone ring

This stunning vintage ring, circa 1988, holds three beautiful diamonds, set in line form. The diamonds are round brilliant cuts, a cut designed for maximum brilliance and sparkle, with sharp, crisp facets. The diamonds are bright and lively, totalling 0.78cts and assessed as H-I colour, further complemented by the white metal double gallery that holds them. The open gallery allows light to hit the stones from every angle, bringing out the stones' very best.
The head of this ring is framed by knife-edged shoulders, contrasting the white metal head in 18ct yellow gold that has a rich, buttery tone. The shoulders lead to a plain band with a highly polished finish, simple and classic. Inside the band sits the small, neat hallmark. This ring has been hallmarked by the Assay Office of Birmingham, symbolised by their anchor stamp for 18ct gold. The hallmark has the date letter 'O', telling us this ring was hallmarked in 1988.
