A stunning and elegant ring, placed in the late Victorian era, holding three creamish white half pearls, the central pearl with an ever-so-slightly peachier tone. Each pearl is bright and lustrous, reflecting the light beautifully with slight iridescence. The pearls are further complemented by four old-cut diamonds that act as spacers, two either side of the central stone, adding a subtle but effective sparkle to this delicate piece.
The gemstones are claw set to an attractive, open gallery that allows light to enter the piece, further bringing out the sparkle in the diamonds that embellish the gem-set head. The head spans the entire width of the finger when worn, drawing the eye with its appealing lustre and brightness. The ring head is framed by simple but strong shoulders that taper into a plain, polished yellow gold band.
Inside the band are the remnants of a hallmark: a faint crown before a very worn 18 stamp, indicating that this ring has been electronically tested and assessed as 18ct gold. Next to the worn hallmark, a clear maker's mark reading 'CLM'. A fantastic piece, beautiful when worn day or night.
