This exquisite antique Pietra Dura ring, crafted around 1820, features a unique floral mosaic set against a striking black onyx background. Pietra Dura, meaning 'hard stone' in Italian, was a highly prized decorative art form, often reserved for the most skilled craftsmen of the era.
This ring, circa 1820, tests as 18ct. The ring has a slim ornate band and is in good condition with light marks commensurate with age, slight wear and cracking to the design is visible.
