History
The reason behind the Imperial Russian Royal Muscovy Crown emblem is very interesting. The dish was given in 1945 to a Victualler’s delivery driver (Sidney Douglas) who rushed in his van a Russian Diplomat from near the Russian Embassy in Kensington, to a nearby hospital saving his life. The dish was given in gratitude. Letter from Van driver’s great nephew to confirm.
