ORIGINAL LITHOGRAPH TRAVEL POSTER PUBLISHED BY THE BRITISH TOURIST AND HOLIDAY BOARD IN THE LATE 1940'S, EARLY 1950'S. THESE POSTERS WERE PRODUCED TO TRY AND GIVE A BOOST TO THE BRITISH ECONOMY WHICH WAS ALMOST BANKRUPT AFTER THE WAR. THERE APPEARS TO BE 2 SIZES OF POSTERS PUBLISHED, THIS BEING THE LARGER VERSION AT 102 CM BY 63 CM.
THE POSTER IS IN GENERALLY GOOD CONDITION WITH SOME SMALL TEARS TO THE EDGES AND SMALL DISCOLORATION.
