Adjustable from R to X a solid silver finger ring with a painting on linen cloth of the WW2 hospital ship HMT Somersetshire. This is a one off made for "who knows" as it was built in 1927 as a merchant ship, used as a troop ship at the beginning of the war then converted to a hospital ship known as HM Hospital Ship No 25. There are area's of the sea and sky worn away, but the ship is in full condition.

I have been buying and selling WW1 and WW2 militaria plus vintage/antique watches for over twenty years. Like a lot of "dealers" I gave up the retail/trade shop presence as the overheads became prohibitive, and now trade in a private manner from an office at my home address. Many of the stock items come from various sources such as house clearances, auctions and private sales. With the WW1 and WW2 militaria, it is becoming harder to source genuine articles with so many "fakes" on the market, so experience and a keen eye is the only way to trust that what is available, is what it says it is.
