This is a fine example of an original watercolour painting. The painting appears in very good condition and presents a view of the well known Roman bridge in Polperro.

The Roman bridge is just behind the harbour at Polperro, a quaint coastal village in the South East of Cornwall, noted as both a working fishing village, and also a popular tourist destination.Painted and signed by Louis Mortimer. The artist sometimes signed his work ‘Lewis Mortimer’. The artist was generally active between 1920 to 1930.It measures approximately 35cm by 25cm, (14 inches by 10 inches)
