19th Century Scottish watercolour, titled 'On the Firth of Tay, near Tayport'. Indistinctly monogrammed and dated '96. Reasonably well painted but with some foxing and slight staining. More significantly, however, there is a splash of gold paint to the top right corner where a clumsy painter has missed the frames mount and splodged onto the watercolour. The work is currently housed in a glazed wooden frame which is in poor condition - can be sold and sent without the frame if required.
