VICTORIAN OIL ON CANVAS OF THE NORFOLK BROADS SIGNED E BAKER PUNTING ONE OF A PAIR
A fine early victorian oil on canvas depicting a man punting along the river banks in the Norfolk Broads on a nice summers day.
The painting is signed in the lower right hand corner by listed British artist E.Baker.
A fantastic example with extreme detail in the brush strokes in painting the reeds.
The frame is very elaborate and shows off the skills of the victorian framemakers at their best.
Frame Measurements are 28 1/2 Inches x 20 1/2 Inches overall.
The actual canvas size is 17 1/2 Inches x 9 1/2 Inches.
The frames have survived well and the oil painting itself is both clean and in good order.
