:sale: george iii style mahogany 3 door cabinet bookcase

Circa 1900, George III style mahogany three door inlaid cabinet bookcase. The stylish cornice is inlaid with boxwood and ebony, below is a flamed mahogany panel which has simple boxwood inlay, and beneath this are three doors. The middle door opens to reveal a makers label Sopwith & Co Ltd. The astragals on the doors have rounded tops and demi lune astragals above and below, and there is simple inlay between the doors. The three cupboard doors have stylish flamed mahogany panels in the centre in the form of a star each capped with a little ebony diamond. Below there is a moulded frieze, a simple apron and the bookcase stands on six bracket feet. Good colour and excellent condition.
