Riley cornered the home market with this simple ingenious rise and fall mechanism which allows easy adjustment from dining to playing by plus or minus 4 inches, the original mechanism is complete together with handles. The table retains its original 5 piece solid oak dining top which is also of serpentine design and matches the form of the cushion edges.
The table has been sympathetically restored by hand,the cushion rubbers and cloth have been replaced as has the bed cloth, but this can be changed if required. Comes complete with all playing accessories, cues ,balls, triangle, chalk, rest and spider bridge and period oak scoring board The playing size is 8ft x 4ft but the dining size is slightly larger at 102" x 51"

A solid oak 8ft x 4ft billiard / snooker combination dining table by Riley of Accrington circa 1920, a fine example of this rare "serpentine" design, standing on four cabriole legs with a slate bed.The table has been sympathetically restored by hand,the cushion rubbers and cloth have been replaced as has the bed cloth, but this can be changed if required.
