The firm of Oscar Heymann is one of the finest American jewellery manufacturers, always producing jewellery of the highest quality. This ring is in the style of the 1940s, but may have been made later. It is set with beautiful blue calibré-cut sapphires, and beautiful white brilliant-cut diamonds, in a stepped and fluted wide shank, tapering towards the back, that reminds me of knight's helmet visor.
The ring is UK size M- US 6 1/4 and could be moderatly sized. The depth at the front of the ring is 15mm

N.Bloom & Son was established by my maternal grandfather in 1912. I have run the business since 1971. I specialise in high-quality old jewellery, mostly late 19th and 20th century, of interesting and unusual design. After having a succession of shops in the West End over forty years, and having a achieved a high reputation and profile with the public, I decided to close my last shop in 2005, and now I trade solely over the internet, or by person-to-person contact with clients.
