very large oriental floor standing papier mache

A very large and unusual Japanese Meiji period papier mache floor vase. The black lacquer ground decorated with exotic goldfish and carp swimming amongst water plants, with integral wooden base. Good condition with a couple of blemishes. Dimensions:- Height...42.5'/ 108cm. Diameter...17'/ 40cm.
