This sofa has a solid frame and is very heavy. It dates from around the late 1800s. It has a scrolled back and arms. The drop arm works well. It has been stuffed throughout with horse hair and is fully sprung, but will now need restoration. There are attractive turned legs to the front and splayed legs to the back, with original castors.This sofa would now need to be reupholstered; it really would bring this stunning sofa to life!The sofa would make a fine addition to any room.We would be happy to reupholster this sofa for you, our work is carried out to a high standard and all work is done traditionally.
