This fabulous sofa has a solid frame with a very heavy weight and is of very good quality. It dates from around the early 1900s and is VERY comfortable. It is fully sprung and has been stuffed throughout with horse hair. It's been upholstered in the last twenty years or so. Although the rust colour linen type fabric is in good condition it would benefit from a clean. you may even wish to recover it, this sofa would look wonderful in a new modern fabric and has years of use left in it. It is currently piped in a contrast cream piping. This fabulous sofa is very comfortable and has actually been in our family for many years. If you would like us to recover this sofa we would be happy to send fabric samples out in the post. We have an extensive range of good quality beautiful fabrics.
