The chair is heavy and made from Rosewood. It is stuffed with original horse hair and is sprung. It has a buttoned back and some very attractive carving. The legs are beautifully and all legs retain their original solid brass castors. All the show wood is in excellent condition, although the back is a little loose, it is fine as it is for not much use but we could make it solid if we were reupholstering it. The chair has been covered in a patterned red floral fabric, which again is in excellent condition and shows no wear or tear. The approximate dimensions, in cm are: w 51, h 92 and d 54.
