mid 1800's painted armoire

A beautiful antique pine painted armoire of West German origin with original paint, dated 1841, possibly made as a wedding present.

Dismantles for delivery as the top and bottom can be separated and the main body splits in two down the middle.The panelled doors have floral painted images and an attractive centre piece with a shaped crown on the top. The original lock with key is fully working.Inside at the bottom is a single drawer below a shelf, the drawer having an original metal ring pull handle.We will fit a new brass hanging rail inside or we could fit shelves inside if you wanted to use as a cupboard.Height 75", Width 61", Depth 20", Internal Depth 17"
