exceptional and rare leather stool in mahogany

This leather stool is most unusual and a shape we have never seen before in one of these. Dating from the mid 1900s, we would guess, this has now been freshly French polished and reupholstered in antique finish leather with proper close studding to the edges it is rather special. The corners boast the scrolls to each one and the whole stool sits on attractive cabriole legs that terminate in a ball and claw. The side rails on the front and back have the lovely turned detail which also adds to the appeal of this most useful stool which can be used in a living room or bedroom. Great to pull your socks on in a morning or the use as seating and even a coffee table in your lounge. Dont delay it should go quickly. This could even be moved from one place to another where the mood takes you.
