Regent Antiques has been trading in London for nearly three decades. They are one of the UK’s leading dealers of antique and antique reproduction furniture and their superb website gives the public access to its extensive inventory at trade prices.

If you crave the charm and elegance of the Old World in your home, look no further than Regent Antiques of London for your inspiration. Whether your taste is English or Continental, ornate or minimalist, they have something for you.

The site displays items from a wide range of categories. Superb photography highlights every detail of the piece and easily allows one to imagine its impact in their home. From the traditional old English designs of the Georgian, Victorian, and Edwardian Eras to the unparalleled opulence of the court of Louis XV and the French Empire, there is something for everyone. Purists and niche collectors will take heart in the wide range of antique items available at trade prices while others will prefer the extensive antique reproduction offers that allow one to own a piece that could only otherwise be found in a museum or royal palace.

But this website offers more than traditional furniture items. With fine porcelain, glassware, silver and silver plate wares, bronzes, fine paintings, and a wide range of other unique decorative pieces such as mirrored furniture, you could easily redecorate your entire home from this site alone.

Regent Antiques is offering a 10% discount on all items purchased through their website in the month of September.

A rare opportunity to acquire a superb matching pair of oil on canvas portraits of Queen Victoria & Prince Albert of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, the Prince Consort.

These examples are after the studio of famous artist Franz Xavier Winterhalter and are of extremely good quality. Both portraits have been carefully & fully restored to include wax re-lining.

They are of considerable size measuring 35 xx 43 inches overall.

The frames have been specially made to enhance their appearance.

Other examples of the same poses can be seen in the National Gallery, London, Osbourne House, Isle of White, (which was Queen Victoria's second home) as well as in Buckingham Palace London.

The portraits were probably painted around 1842 and the artist died in 1873.

Queen Victoria married Prince Albert, who was her first cousin, in 1840 and over the following 20 years they had 9 children.

Prince Albert died of typhoid in 1861 and Queen Victoria reined until she died in 1901.
