    Can you help?
Several years ago I bought a carved chair at an antique store in England. I bought it because I liked the carving. I did some research and found that the chair comes from the Bentinck family whose coat of arm is at the top with the motto 'creignez honte'.

The inscription reads 'William III wounded at the Boyne assisted by William Bentinck 30 June 1690'. I came across a picture depicting an identical chair showing the landing of William III at Torbay.

I would like to get in touch with the owner of this chair to exchange any information they have and find out if there are any more such chairs. I can be reached at s.jansen@sympatico.ca
