A late 18th to early 19th century horn snuff box. The box has a hinged lid that has a scene of a lady with a basket of grapes next to a Gentleman with a child on his knee. Above them are the words "Le Bon Menage" (The Good Household) which is a comedy by Jean-Pierre Claris de Florian that was performed in the late 18th century. The snuff box is in very good condition.
