This is a very beautiful unusual and quite collectable mid-20th century Japanese enamelled 12cm plate, depicting a large chrysanthemum flower.
The enamelled chrysanthemum face is in perfect condition and the enamel on the reverse side of the plate is non- damaged although show signs of light wear.
What makes this plate quite unusual and collectable is the fact that on the reverse side there is some English wording which unfortunately due to wear has become slightly illegible, however it’s clear that this plate was presented as a gift.
