A quality William IV mahogany tilt-top breakfast table, Circa 1835, featuring a solid mahogany circular shaped top with rounded edge, over a moulded frieze. The top is supported by a turned stem with carved foliate detail and similar collar, on a triform waisted base, raised on carved lion's paw and claw feet on hidden brass castors.
A handsome table and of a very high quality, this excellent example of early C19th craftsmanship is in very good condition.
Suitable for seating up to six people, and ready for everyday use.
Dimensions: This table measures approximately 73 cm (29") tall, and 129 cm (51") in diameter.
Condition: This table is in very good condition commensurate with its age, and is structurally sound and sturdy.There are some minor blemish marks and age related signs of wear consistent with a piece of this age. Includes original catches, hinges and castors.
