Circa 1900, exhibition quality walnut and burr walnut wardrobe by Whytock and Reid of Edinburgh. With arched top, simple cornice and half round moulding surmounted on a small beading, it has a frieze veneered in burr walnut to all sides. It has 2 full length drawers with panels, with silvered handles and inside is a single, removable shelf stamped 'Whytock and Reid.' Beneath the shelf is a brass cross rail and hooks along the back of the wardrobe. The gables have grain veneers, matched top to bottom. The wardrobe is in one piece and stands on 4 large squat bun feet.
