Goss Porcelain Model of the Maltese Vase a Canard, bearing the arms of Hoylake and West Kirby, the underside inscribed, "MODEL OF MALTESE VASE A CANARD OF BRONZE AGE PERIOD FROM TARXIEN SANCTUARY", and fully marked in black with the Goshawk. Catalogued as Model No.198 in the A.C.C.'s "Price Guide to the Models of W.H. Goss", by Roland Ward, published in 1975.
