This Victorian dome top box was made circa 1870
The box maker used fine burr walnut and then applied brass strapwork that has been finely engraved with decorative motifs.
Our restorer has brought this back to its former glory.
The brass strapping was carefully removed and then polished the box before returning the brass strapwork back in place. Once all this work was finished then the interior was relined.
