Circa 1870, Victorian walnut framed side chair. With moulded frame that continues down the front and finishes above the seat with foliate carving and c-scrolls on the sides. The chair is upholstered in a chequered fabric with double piped fore-edge front and back (this is an expensive process). The back legs are shaped and downward swept, at the front there is a shaped apron and 2 well carved cabriole legs.
