A prime example of an antique electroplated nickel silver fruit display dish from the much sought after Arts & Crafts period in design history.
Made by Hukin & Heath in Birmingham. A renowned maker who gathered a worldwide following during the 1880s after their involvement with the Victorian designer Dr C. Dresser.
Dated by the registered number to 1892.
Presented in very good condition, with minor plate thinning to small areas (confined to some raised parts of the decoration) which are considered commensurate with aged use and not detrimental.
