A Victorian oak inkwell stand or standish. The stand has an oak drawer with a silver plated knob handle and a pair of inkwells. The pair of cut glass inkwells are square and have silver plated lids and sit on plated holders. The top of the stand has shallow troughs to hold pens and pencils and has silver plated mounts. The stand is in original condition, the inkwell lids would have hinged but now just sit on.
