A late 19th century Victorian iron shoe stretcher on a beech wood platform. The machine has a pair of chromed wheels which adjust the 'shoe' to widen it. The iron has a black paint with a gold 'coach line' style decoration. The shoe stretcher is in good condition. This item would make a great object of conversation.
