Circa 1860, neat sized Victorian camphor wood brass bound trunk/kist. The top has brass quarter brackets at the corners and brass plaque in the centre. The deep lid has a recessed brass lifting handle. Inside, there are 3 cross stretchers on the lid to make it sturdy and a candle box on the side. At the front is a large brass escutcheon and various other brass brackets. At the sides are cast brass lifting handles. The trunk has been re-polished and would make a good coffee table.
