One of a small collection of experimental pieces made by the designers at Nazeing Glass Works in the late 50s / early 60s. This lovely chunky little vase has a quite beautiful deep indigo tone only really revealed with by lighting. It is entirely unique and may well have been made by Michael Harris, who was part of the Nazeing design team at the time as it closely resembles the button-topped vases he went on to make at both Mdina Glass in Malta and Isle of Wight Glass, both of which companies he founded. Provenance: From the collection of former Nazeing designer, Roger Phillipo. Ask for more photos.
