Circa 1820. A good George IV mahogany inlaid grandfather clock. Drum head with inlay in the bottom of the door, painted dial Thomas Pringle, Dalkeith with Roman numerals, pierced hands, minutes and calendar, with further moulding beneath the hood, the case has quarter fluted columns, a full-length door with flame mahogany, string inlay and a further oval panel beneath. The base has a large flamed mahogany panel with string inlay and canted corners, all resting on four squat bracket feet. The clock is serviced, working and guaranteed.
