Cernunnos (Celtic: “Horned One”) was an archaic and powerful deity, widely worshipped as the “Lord of Wild Things”, “God of the Forests”, "Ruler of Nature" &al. Cernunnos was worshipped, primarily in Britain, as far back as at least 400 BCE.
Circa 100 BCE, this well preserved and fully wearable bronze ring, from humanity's Iron Age, depicts the horned god on its bezel, with decorated metalwork shoulders and a plain shank. The shank has a non-circular shape from the two millenniums it waited to be found, but it is still wearable.
