A good clean First Edition copy of this scarce and important pioneering work. "Staffordshire Portrait Figures of the Victorian Age", by Thomas Balston was published in 1958 by Faber and Faber of London as one of their Monograph series on Pottery and Porcelain and is today considered to be one of the key publications relating to the subject. A "must have " work of reference for the collector of and dealer in Victorian Staffordshire figures. Hard covers, 93 pages of text, 52 pages of black and white plates plus four fine colour plates, original dust jacket, now torn and rather scruffy.
