An antique silver boudoir or carriage clock by W&G Neals, London 1906. The clock has a white enamelled dial with black roman numerals and minute ring. The rectangular silver case has a shaped silver handle and is raised on four bun feet. Hinged hallmarked rear door. French timepiece movement with original lever platform escapement. The backplate holds an integral, folding winding handle and a knurled thumbscrew for adjusting the hands. Hallmarked for London Assay Office 1906 and for silversmiths W&G Neal. Hallmarked in three places. The clock measures 9.5 cm excluding its handle (12 cm to top of handle), 6.5 cm in width and 5 cm in depth. Excellent time keeper. A very nice example.Fully cleaned. The clock's movement is covered by our 12 month warranty in the UK.
This clock is in excellent overall condition commensurate with age. The dial is in perfect condition. Very minor surface signs of age as would be expected with genuine antique silver. Please see images as these form an important part of the description.
