Small Georgian Elm and Mahogany 'Batchelors' chest of drawers (3 straight) on bracket feet and retaining its original pine panelled back. The Mahogany drawers have Ebony beading to the outer edges and are pine lined. The drawers are fine dovetailed jointed, clean inside and the runners and stays (which keep the drawers in the correct alignment) are all present and work well. The brass pull handles are original, the escutcheons are period but were added at a later stage, 2/3 original steel locks, no keys. All round even colour, good patina, a few very old worm flight holes to one of the Elm side panels and a very old (cigar/candle) burn mark to the top and one of the plate handles has a tear to its lhs - no impact (please see photographs) otherwise free from damage.
