Circa 1750A very fine small clock in a mahogany case with intricately carved sound frets and high quality mouldings with gilt brass carrying handle, finials and bracket feet.
The 6 inch brass dial with gilt brass spandrels, signed in the matted centre, on a silvered plaque, William Miller, London. Silvered chapter ring with Roman and Arabic numerals, strike / silent selector in the arch, visible cow tail pendulum and date aperture.
8-day, 6-piller movement striking on a bell, with engraved back plate signed, William Miller, London. Verge escapement with pull repeat and original crank winding key.
