A set of four early 20th Century Mendlesham armchairs made from ash and yew wood with a shaped elm seat, the back having a wonderfully shaped and pierced splat with spindles either side, there are three turned balls under the top rail and two turned balls on the bottom rail, shaped swept arm supports, supported on finely turned legs united by turned stretchers. Circa 1900.
