Circa 1900, set of 4 Queen Anne style mahogany chairs. The high backs have a shaped top rail and classic Queen Anne style solid splats which have the impression of being scooped. The chairs have drop in pads which have been upholstered in tartan fabric, above a simple apron. The uprights on the back continue down to become the back legs, which are square, tapering and out swept. The front legs are cabriole with solid mahogany quarter brackets on each side. The chairs are elegant and clean.
