Circa 1810, very stylish top quality Scottish mahogany sideboard/serving table. The stage back has breakfront ends with recessed panels, and is supported at the front by pairs of turned columns. The surface itself has D shaped ends and breakfront sections, over a combination of drawers with flame mahogany panels. There are recessed panels again on the front which match the top, and a lovely quarter bracket to overlap skirting boards or dado rails and giving the side profile an excellent look. The whole piece stands on four large ring turned, tapering legs with excellent colour and great proportions, finishing on slightly bulbous feet. The sideboard has excellent colour and condition.
