Circa 1830, Scottish mahogany William IV circular revolving piano stool. With a mushroom shaped top recently reupholstered in burgundy leather, above a large brass collar which contains the revolving mechanism. It is on a fluted, tapering urn shaped stem, on a concave platform base with classic Scottish beaded fore-edges, a simple frieze and on fluted downward facing bun feet with extension toes beneath.

Scotland's largest antiques warehouse is located in a converted whiskey bond in historic Leith Edinburgh. With 50,000sq ft over five floors we offer a wide range of quality Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian furniture, as well as continental and small decorative items. Our stock is constantly changing.
