A scarce set of late Boer War period Ordnance marked binoculars. The sliding ocular shades bear Ordnance broad arrow struck marks, while the leather barrel coverings bear Royal Field Artillery unit stamps. They are maker-marked, serial numbered and dated 1902. The optics are good and clear. Complete in a possibly field made soft leather case.
