Circa 1820, Dutch walnut dressing table, profusely covered on almost every area with floral marquetry. The top has a mirror with an arched top in an inlaid frame encased in a wrap around upright crowned with an arched top with an inlaid butterfly. The surface of the table is covered with swags and tails, an urn filled with flowers, and a bird in the centre. The table front and gables are serpentine and have a lovely moulded edge. The 2 drawers have wonderful cast brass handles opening to reveal oak lined drawers. Below is a simple frieze and the dressing table stands on 4 stylish cabriole legs which are inlaid on the fore edge. Wonderful colour and condition.
