Elegant Royal Doulton salt-glaze stoneware ewer c1925. Tube-lined off-white chrysanthemum flowers on an olive-green body. The vase measures 33 cm in height. Incised Royal Doulton mark used after 1922. Signed FJ (monogram for Florrie Jones, Senior Assistant who worked at Doulton from before 1902 to 1928). Pattern number 8248.
This ewer is in excellent original condition. No chips, cracks, crazing or restoration. Salt-glazing naturally produced a stippled effect on the finished colour. Please see images as these form an important part of the description.
