Scarce British 1824 Presentation sword to a bandsman in the Buckinghamshire Yeomanry. Presented by the Marquis of Chandos. Inscription reads -
"Given by ___ the Marquis of Chandos for the use of the Yeomen comprising the Band of the 2nd ___ Regt Bucks Yeomanry 1824"

Hardwood grip and brass hilt mounts. Brass scabbard. Plain blade. Scabbard still retains an original leather hanging strap. Blade length is 28 inches (33 inches overall).
