A rare Early 20th Century gem from The Studio, "Peasant Art in Sweden, Lapland and Iceland", published as their Autumn number in 1910. Despite it's untidy looking cover, this volume really is worth taking a look at. Filled with examples of Scandinavian peasant art of the period, over six hundred illustrations of the sort of thing that today is only to be found in well endowed museums. Absolutely fabulous. An Interior Designer's dream! Soft covers with taped repair, around 300 un-numbered pages. Tiny, old, red bookseller's label appended to front cover, "B. DIVER AND SON, {LATE H.W. WALLIS}, 24 Sidney Street, CAMBRIDGE".
