A fine pair of oils on canvas depicting fruit against a landscape. The paintings are by Edwin Steele who was a porcelain painter in the nineteenth century, he seems to have worked for Rockingham but there may well have been several of the family with the same name working. The pair are in good condition, signed and mounted in good quality later gilt and swept frames. C.1900.
