A pair of 19th century Victorian mahogany open bookcases. One bookcase is slightly longer than the other with each bookcase having two adjustable shelves that have a concave and reeded front edge moulding. The bookcases have a moulded edge to the top over a deep ogee shaped frieze. The end uprights of the bookcases are decorated with carved scrolling acanthus and flower corbels. The bookcases are very good heavy quality mahogany and in original condition. One bookcase is 14cm longer than the other.
