Another lovely Pair of Early 19th Century Antique English Late Georgian Brass Candlesticks of good colour and transitional form. Retaining their internal push-ejector rods, but minus one button, otherwise in fine original condition. The columns identical in form to those of Stock Ref. POALGBC3, but this time rising from card cut square bases. N.B. These Late Georgian candlesticks are often confused with the Victorian models which, in due course, developed from them. For similar examples see ""Old Domestic Base-metal Candlesticks", by Ronald F. Michaelis, { Antique Collectors' Club ~ Woodbridge ~ 1978 } ~ Figures 182, 183 and 185.
